As part of their lesson on genetic traits, the 5th/6th-grade class created "genetic puppies". Character traits for the puppies were determined by the rolling of dice. The students then made a drawing of their puppies on paper and then on their Chromebooks using SketchPad. A great STEAM activity combining art with science and technology.
